Mitglied im ZeMKI-Lab: "Film, Medienkunst und Populärkultur"

Aidan Power ist Research Fellow an der Universität Bremen. Zuvor arbeitete er am University College Cork, Irland, wo er sein Studium 2012 mit einer Promotion in Filmwissenschaft  (Titel: "Continental Drifts:. Bewegung, Margen und Übergangs im 21. Jahrhundert European Cinema") abgeschlossen hat. Dr. Power hat in einer Vielzahl von Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht und ist einer der Gründer und Mitherausgeber der Zeitschrift für Film und Screen Media Alphaville.

Forschungsschwerpunkte

Science fiction, Travel and mobility in film, Identity politics in cinema.
